What's Up?

Each week we will highlight an activity of our ministry – maybe a meeting, Bible study, social event, mission event, etc. With this spot we hope to keep you better informed as to “what’s up” in our mission and ministry! Let us know how it’s working or if you have any ideas!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR WEEK IN MINISTRY

+ Our Spiritual Care Ministry Team (Elders) met this week with great fellowship and unity! Know that these leaders pray for you regularly and care about your walk with the LORD, as they join Pastor Tim in his shepherding you in Christ!

+ Many of our Momentum Campaign Teams met in preparation for our upcoming Campaign – there is great excitement among these leaders for what the LORD is preparing us for in honoring Him!

+ In-house registration for the next ECEC school year is under way…please be in prayer for those families that are currently enrolled, that they continue with our ministry, and for those new families who will come to us and connect with this mission!

+As we begin a new year our various Bible Studies and Fellowship Opportunities are getting back into gear – now is a great time to join one if you haven’t yet!

+ This is also a great time to encourage someone you know to re-engage in regular worship if they have slipped a bit; a new year brings new habits to put into place!

+ On Wednesday evening we’ll be sharing in a new fellowship opportunity: each month we are planning on getting together for dinner (bring a dish to share) and fellowship activity. This came out of our Wednesday Advent Evenings as folks expressed a desire to get together at least monthly on Wednesday nights. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the schedule listed in the newsletter and join us on Wednesday for great food and a great fellowship activity – 6:15 p.m. dinner & 7 p.m. fellowship activity!

+ Thursday, January 14th at 6:30 p.m. our Momentum Campaign Teams will be meeting to begin planning for our February – April Momentum Campaign. If you haven’t signed up yet there is still time. Join us on Thursday if you are able!

In taking on this responsibility he has resigned as the chairman for the Southeastern District Conference Planning Committee. As we continue our partnership with this critical ministry of our communities please keep ComfortCare in your prayers!
